History
De parochie van Edegem was gewijd aan Sint-Antonius (Eremijt). In 1924 wordt de parochie Heilige Familie (Elsdonk) afgesplitst van de parochie Sint-Antonius. In 1933 wordt de nieuwe Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van Lourdeskerk de parochiekerk, de Sint-Antoniuskerk wordt een kapel. De naam van de parochie wordt Parochie Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van Lourdes en Sint-Antonius.
In 2004 gaat Karel Heuten, pastoor van de parochie H. Familie Elsdonk en Sint-Jozef, op pensioen, hij wordt niet vervangen. ZEH André Goossens, pastoor van de parochie Onze-Lieve-Vrouw van Lourdes en Sint-Antonius, krijgt alle Edegemse parochies onder zich. Die vormen samen (vanaf 2007) de Federatie Edegem.
