Théodore KOOB is geboren in Ettelbruck (Groot Hertogdom Luxemburg) op 22 mei 1862. Gehuwd op 2 april 1887 te Parijs met Dorothée MEYER (Luxemburg, 7 feb 1863). Was tot 1894 decorateur in Parijs, Boulevard de Clichy 45. Verhuisde in 1894 naar Antwerpen waar hij de zaak van P. RIGIDIOTTI, "statuaire-ornemaniste" in de Kammenstraat 70 overnam. Werkte tot de eerste wereldoorlog op dit adres, waar vanaf 1922 de beeldenmakers Mares en Van den Brock te vinden zijn.
